Create an Agile Team to Help Navigate Unexpected Change

If there’s anything 2020 has taught us, it’s that things can change on a dime. For B2B organizations, it proved even the best laid plans can be upended overnight. But there’s at least one silver lining: now we know better. In order to weather storms, figuratively or literally, and continue our paths to success, we have to build a strong foundation with agility at its core.

In a recent article for ClickZ, “Benefits of agility and four keys to creating an agile team,” LeadMD CEO Justin Gray explains why the long term success of an organization hinges on its ability to be agile in the face of sudden, unexpected challenges. He shares why, in order to yield results, agility must be vertically integrated into an organization. Then he breaks down four factors for companies to consider, including:

  1. Establishing a balance between understanding the customer headspace and translating that into healthy business practices
  2. Creating alignment around a single source of truth
  3. Hiring and developing the right people for the right roles
  4. Ensuring internal processes and technology are ready to support your people.
