Some mornings are easier than others when the alarm goes off…but it shouldn’t be hard because you hate your job. Sure, everyone has bad days, but we’ve also decided to buy into the concept that work-life balance is the goal.

It’s not—or at least it shouldn’t be.

For most people, work-life balance means the balance between the things we have to do and the things we want to do. Some of your peers set a goal way back when they took their dreadful job that in X many years they’d pursue their real passions—and yet, here they are. This is the primary differentiator between a job to earn a wage, and a passion—something you’d do even if there was no pay.
