Tradeshows Suck, But You Can Get 10X Out of Them

You just can’t beat face-to-face interaction. Make it count.

I’ve been to so many tradeshows over the years, it’s probably a good idea I’ve lost count. So many of them blur together; me-too versions of also-ran ideas. Fortunately, we’ve developed a benchmark for determining which shows we attend. It’s as simple as this:

Is this show going to deliver 10X ROI?

Naturally, other questions have to be answered first. There’s homework to be done. And I’d encourage anyone considering their next tradeshow investment to read this article for the deliverables on that homework. Tradeshows can really suck, but not as much as wasting your hard-won budget.
