LeadMD Honored as Winner in 2013 International Davey Awards

Marketing and Sales Consulting Firm Earns Silver Case Study Award for its Content Marketing Achievements in Partnership with ReachForce

(Scottsdale, Ariz. — Nov. 5, 2013)  — LeadMD, specializing in marketing automation and CRM consulting services, has been named a Silver winner for content marketing in The 2013 Davey Awards. The winners, selected by the International Academy of the Visual Arts (IAVA), were chosen from nearly 4,000 entries from around the world.

LeadMD was honored for its work with ReachForce , a leader in B2B data cleansing and lead scoring solutions for marketers. The two companies partnered to create a campaign differentiating ReachForce to conference attendees at the 2013 Marketo Summit. The campaign combined ReachForce’s valuable product with LeadMD’s extensive knowledge of marketing automation best practices to intrigue ReachForce prospects to come to the event booth and learn more.

“LeadMD encouraged us to try a new take on the traditional event email,” said Mary Firme, director of marketing for ReachForce. “The goal of this initiative was to amuse and – more importantly – engage the recipients while drumming up interest in ReachForce’s solutions. Based on the results and this award, it clearly paid off.”

“The fact that we won this award with such a non-traditional approach really shows that innovation gets results,” said Justin Gray, LeadMD CEO. “Sending an email with the subject ‘Marketo Summit – Free Beer, Gold for Everyone’ might seem like a risk to traditionalists. But the results stand: The email had a 43 percent open rate, 12 recipients requested demos the day they received it, and four times as many people visited the booth as the previous year. This award really validates the thinking that led to that.”

The Davey Awards honor the finest creative work from the best small firms, agencies and companies worldwide.
